Kniha Sunshine Hotel je výběrem jeho práce z posledních pěti desetiletí. Od prvních fotografií, které Epstein pořídil v roce 1969 ve svých 16 letech až po tvorbu z roku 2018. There are countless photographers who have chosen America as the main theme of their work. But only few have been able to grasp such an extensive topic as Mitch Epstein. The book Sunshine Hotel is a selection of his work from the last five decades. From the first photographs Epstein took in 1969 at the age of 16 to his work in 2018. No matter how much the United States changes, he still observes, confronts, and describes something mysteriously and persistently American.
